Hey everyone, please welcome my son Cody to the blog! He’s 13 years old and a super tech savvy kid. He’s going to be helping us out around here with all things tech and frugal! Welcome to the blog Cody!
In all of the headsets below I made sure that each of them had an inline remote (which basically means a button on the wire that connects to your controller) for mute/un-mute and volume up/down as this is very useful if someone is trying to talk to you while you are in a party with your friends. All of these are also wired – the reason being is that the xbox one does not have bluetooth capability and the wire is not a big deal – it just connects to the controller – not the system or tv. Also wired are WAY cheaper.
Below are the top 3 for the price in my opinion and they all happen to be under $25!
The VersionTech G2000 Gaming headset is compatible with PS4, Xbox One and any PC that has a 3.5mm headphone jack. This is a #1 Best Seller on amazon and it’s only $21.99. It has a 50mm driver so it should deliver pretty good sound. This one gets 3.8 out of 5 stars.
The SADES SA-807 is the cheapest headset on this list, but not by much. It’s only $21.99 which is pretty good for a gaming headset especially if you compare it to some of the popular brands. It also comes with a 3.5mm jack cable 1 to 2, which is used if you have an older PC that has a headphone cable and a separate microphone cable.
My Top Pick: The KingTop gaming headset is a quality headset for just $23.99, and I know this from experience. My brother bought this a few months ago and he still uses it all the time. It’s very comfortable and just like the others above as far as specs go. It’s very affordable although it feels expensive. This also comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and 1 year warranty, not bad for the price!
